Coucou 260

Smells humidity and cigarette remnants from an other era.Limited internet download advise (with fees if exceeded)Minimum toilet paper (only one extra).Bring your own soap and shampoo.Wall-to-wall industrial carpet.Bed is comfortable.Well located (but the closest two-person chairlift is not running during the week).Noisy refrigerator.Fake fireplace (gas) does not do the ambiance job (too weak). These few details that contribute to enjoy your stay are not fullfilling our expectations for a ski-in-ski-out when we paid 506$ for two nights.

Thank you for your comments.
To address some of your issues:
This unit was completely remodeled including new paint, carpet and furniture in 2014. All units have been non-smoking units for over 10 years, with severe fines attached for breaking the rules.
As this is not a hotel, soap and shampoo are not included, however for future reservations I will adjust the information in the confirmation letter to clearly state that all personal care items are not included.
Tight weave high quality carpets are the easiest to keep clean and allergy free for clients.
I am sorry that the electric fireplace was not acceptable to you.
We try to offer the highest level of customer service, including a 24-7 toll free number for any needs and questions.
Hopefully the skiing on 100 cm of new powder snow was enjoyable!

President's Week 2014

This is the best kept secret!! We stayed in Coucou 262 last year and it was OK for our needs. We have 1 child and decided that a 2 bedroom would be better for us. Coucou was a great location and perfectly clean.

This year we stayed in SouBois#4. It was perfect for 3 of us. A wood burning stove, full kitchen, fantastic location and perfectly clean. You can't get any better in the U.S. for the price!!! We will now call SouBois #4 our President's week home!!!

Glad you had a great time, looking forward to seeing you next year! Just a little correction to your comment. Coucou 262 is a 3 bedroom, you stayed in Coucou 260, a one bedroom.

President's Week 2014

We have stayed in Sutton for many years but this is the first time in condo 526. We found the unit clean and nicely decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed. The only problem was that one of the electrical outlets in the kitchen did not work properly so we had to move some appliances around. We are big fireplace fans and usually do not like gas or electric ones, but this one was very nice, heated the room very well and looked pretty realistic. My only wish would be that the ski-closet was not upstairs since I hate climbing those steps in ski boots while carrying skis but I realize that's out of your control! All in all, we had a very comfortable stay and look forward to returning.

Glad your holiday was a good one! I will check out the outlet problem. For future rentals please let me know immediately if you have any problems so that I can fix them and make your vacation stay perfect.

Presidents Week

Disapointed that unit did not have dishwasher - and "electric fireplace" was not very realistic or useful.
Upstairs guests were very loud - had small party one night that lasted until 3am . Location good - general condition was good.

It is unfortunate that your neighbors, who were a family with young children, disturbed you. Every tenant receives a copy of the rules, which indicate quiet hours are from 9 p.m. - 8 a.m. and that it is strictly forbidden to disturb the tranquility of your neighbors. In the future please bring issues such as these to my attention while you are still in Sutton as I take the well being of all of my clients very seriously. The amenities of each property are clearly stated on the website to try and alleviate disappointment concerning your vacation property. The dream of every ski vacation rental property is a wood-burning fireplace, but due to the complications of knowing how to safely use one and increased insurance rates means that very few properties now have wood burning fireplaces.
